New URO website – What to expect?
Welcome to the new University Registrar’s Office (URO) website!
What’s the URO?
The University Registrar’s Office (URO) is a central unit that is accountable for student financial aid and awards, client services and records, student systems, transcripts, learning space management, various student related policies and student accounts. The URO works with your divisional, faculty, and college registrar’s office to support you with things like paying your fees, accessing financial aid and awards, obtaining a transcript, to name a few.
What’s on the URO website?
Up until now, information was provided across several university websites, which made finding information confusing and frustrating. Based on student feedback, it was clear we needed to have a one-stop shop approach for all registrarial services. On the new URO website, you’ll be able to access information on topics such as:
- OSAP, UTAPS, Canadian provincial/territory student aid, U.S. student aid, Work Study Program
- Awards, scholarships, bursaries, and grants
- Transcripts
- Academic calendars, policies, and guidelines
- List of divisional, faculty, and college registrar offices
- And more!
Also, you can now easily access the URO’s Service Portal and FAQs Portal. Here you can search the database of questions/answers or contact the URO directly about your specific situation.
Take a look around – We welcome your feedback!
