There are plenty of ways to learn about finances and money matters from videos and in workshops online and in person. Here are a few to get you started.

Financial Consumer Agency of Canada

Ensures federally regulated financial entities comply with consumer protection measures, promotes financial education and raises consumers’ awareness of their rights and responsibilities. Check out their YouTube channel for informative videos.

MyMoneyCoach.ca


Is a free public service provided by the Credit Counselling Society (CCS). They offer a range of workshops, training and information sessions, and webinars on how to save money and make smart financial choices.

U of T’s Hart House

Hart House sometimes offers workshops on financial literacy and similar topics with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, usually in the fall and winter. Check the Hart House site for upcoming events.
