The University Registrar’s Office (URO) supports and advances the University of Toronto academic and strategic goals by providing leadership and advice across all three campuses on areas such as student registration, student academic records, financial aid, awards, fee assessment, academic discipline and access to information.
Client Services
We help in person, over the phone, and through the Service Portal. Inquiries such as admissions, awards, financial aid, fees, payments, and transcripts all come through our office. In 2024, we handled 120,000+ student inquiries.

Undergraduate Admissions and Awards inquiries:
Applications status, document submission, test scores and parchment matching, JOINid enabling issues, program requirements, deadline dates, URO awards and scholarships, Award Explorer details, award application status updates and third-party scholarships cheques.
Financial Aid inquiries:
Full and Part-Time OSAP applications, OSAP for Micro-credentials, Bursaries for Students with Disabilities (BSWD), provincial and territorial student aid programs (OOP), U.S. student aid (US) and University of Toronto Advanced Planning for Students program (UTAPS).
Student Account inquiries:
Responsible for range of financial services to students including tuition fees and billing, ACORN invoice support, payment processing and deadlines, tuition fee deferrals, refunds and tax documents and other tuition receipts.
University of Toronto Transcripts inquiries:
Transcript request issues, paper transcripts and transcript request statuses.

Convocation is the culmination of this phase of your academic career; it’s a celebration of your graduation and an event that you will look back on for years to come. At the Office of Convocation, our role is to provide you with all the information and resources you need to make it the best day for you, your fellow graduands, and your guests.

Accommodated Testing Services
Balancing academic accommodation and academic integrity, Accommodated Testing Services coordinates and administers quizzes, term tests and exams to students with disabilities who are registered with Accessibility Services and are enrolled in St. George Campus courses.

As a University of Toronto student, the Registrar’s Office at your division/faculty (or college for the Faculty of Arts & Science) is your primary place for questions and advising regarding academics, financial aid or personal support.

What We Do
We support students, staff, and faculty throughout the student academic lifecycle – from the time the student registers until they graduate. We collaborate with divisional registrars to improve processes, streamline processes and develops university-wide policies, guidelines and procedures. The URO also maintains student records and oversees the student information system to enhance the student experience and support the University’s mission.
